Country Coach CEO talks with creditors daily

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. — Though time is running out, Country Coach isn’t giving up yet, CEO Jay Howard said Friday.

The Junction City recreational vehicle manufacturer, forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday by its majority owner, is still working and talking daily with creditors and investors in an effort to find a solution that will enable the company to carry on, Howard said.

“We have a compelling business plan going through reorganization,” he said.

“The optimum solution for the company and these employees and unsecured creditors and the bank and the current investment group is to reach an agreement that provides financing for the company to go forward.”
